Leading in a culture of Inquiry

We will explore the role of formal and informal leaders in growing and nurturing a culture of inquiry throughout the school community.
Tricia has worked in the education sector for 40+ years., and in leadership roles for 25. Her teacher training was in bilingual education and she began her teaching career in Wales and England before moving to Denmark in 1982 where she first encountered international education. Her first leadership position, as principal, was to open an international school in Berlin not long after the fall of the Berlin wall. Since then she has held roles as director of learning, development project leader and director of school in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. A common priority across all her positions has been the implementation and nurturing of change. In 2007 she spent a sabbatical year at the Centre for Future Studies in the UK to follow a master course in Learning for Sustainability. Tricia is an IB workshop leader and school visitor and has worked on accreditation teams with CIS and NEASC. She is currently living in France and continues to work internationally as a consultant
